A Marine stationed in the Philippines loses a hand in an accident and is discharged from the Corps. When the Japanese invade the Philippines, he is called back into service to rescue a general held by Filipino guerrillas behind Japanese lines. Attaching a steel prosthetic in place of his missing hand, he and his men set out on the mission, which turns out to be not quite what he was told it was. Written by firstname.lastname@example.org

The Good: It is in color and free for the downloading. George Montgomery is in it.
The Bad: The dialog..this could have been a pretty good plot if someone had taken the time to write some decent dialog. The "leading lady" Mostly she screamed and clutched at Montgomery. She really brought the movie down. It would have been much better without her, indeed the female resistance leader was a much better actor and would have been a better love interest. This was just a very bad movie that wasted the talent of George Montgomery.

Better than average WWII 'B Movie'
Decent plot, good progression throughout. Takes place in the period when Manila was falling to Japanese forces. Quite a bit of action involving trains, boats, etc. Lots of Filipino actors and actresses to make it feel like you are really in the jungles of Luzon. Above average fare for most Archive.org movies.
